      The article discusses "Reynobond with EcoClean" building panels manufactured by the Alcoa Architectural Products division of aluminum producer Alcoa. The panels have a layer of titanium dioxide that interacts with water and oxygen molecules to produce free radicals that decompose nitrogen oxide into harmless constituents that are washed away by rain water. Alcoa says 10,000 square feet of the panels can eliminate the nitrogen-oxide output of 5.3 automobiles each year.
