Avaliação ergonômica e prevalência das doenças relacionadas ao trabalho em empresas calçadistas. (Portuguese)

Ergonomic evaluation and predominate of the diseases related to the work in footwear industry. (English)

The footwear industry of the city of Franca is one of the largest in production in Brazil, what involves various risk factors with the worker's health and can result in more absences and more expenses for the companies and government. Thus, the study has as objective to do a rising of the prevalence of workers' absences, as well as to evaluate the pain symptoms, discomfort and it fatigues in workers of the footwear industry of Franca/SP. They raised the data of four different companies from the city of Franca regarding the number of workers' absences, as well as demographic and occupational data and osteomuscular complain of 39 workers of both sexes on footwear sector through a questionnaire, within an ergonomic approach. The data were tabulated and analyzed to verify what is the real need of the ergonomic intervention in the footwear industry. We observed that 69,2 % of the workers did not need the measuring corrective, 28,2% was necessary corrective measuring in the near future and 2,6% of the functionaries need corrections as brief as possible. However, more than half of the observed workers (71,8%) feel pain in some area of the body, and 86% of the functionaries agree that this pain is related to the work, repetitive movement and overload. Thus, we can conclude that there are excessive load on this functionaries, being necessary to implement ergonomics in this industry. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

O setor calçadista da cidade de Franca é um dos maiores em produção no Brasil, o que envolve inúmeros fatores de risco com a saúde do trabalhador, podendo acarretar em afastamentos, gastos para as empresas e para o governo. Desta maneira, o objetivo do estudo é verificar a prevalência de afastamentos dos trabalhadores, bem como avaliar os sintomas de dor, desconforto e fadiga em trabalhadores das empresas calçadistas de Franca/SP. Foram levantados o número de afastamentos e os dados de quatro empresas da cidade de Franca, bem como dados demográficos e ocupacionais e queixas osteomusculares de 39 trabalhadores do setor calçadista de ambos os sexos através de dois questionários, dentro de uma abordagem ergonômica. Os dados foram posteriormente tabelados e analisados para verificar qual a real necessidade da intervenção ergonômica nas empresas calçadistas. Podemos observar que 69,2% dos trabalhadores não necessitam de correções ergonômicas, 28,2% necessitavam de medidas corretivas em um futuro breve e 2,6% dos funcionários, necessitavam de correções tão logo quanto possível. No entanto, mais da metade dos trabalhadores (71,8%) observados sentem dor em alguma região do corpo, e 86% dos funcionários concordam que a dor está relacionada ao trabalho, ou seja, movimento repetitivo e sobrecarga. Assim, podemos concluir que existe sobrecarga nestes funcionários, sendo necessária a implantação ergonômica nestas empresas. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
