      The article presents information on the development of artificial kidney systems by Sweden Freezer in collaboration with the University of Washington. School of Medicine. University started the project in 1960 by inviting an electrical equipment manufacturer to build, simplify and improve the artificial kidney system, which rejected the offer and referred Freezer. Harvey F. Swenson, Freezer's president, used the various technology already developed by his firm to develop the kidney system.
