The article focuses on the effort of the School District of Janesville to provide homeless students an open access to the library services in Janesville, Wisconsin. The school district has provided the students with basic school supplies, and assistance in their homework and research. The capability of the school librarians to provide library resources and service to students is one way of showing professional ethics and complying with the students' First Amendment right to school libraries.
