The article reports on the developments in Eastern Europe under the Soviet Union. The Soviet Union established the Polish-Czech Council for Industrial Cooperation where the Poles and Czechs mine the coals and build the steel mills while Union plan, manage, and distribute the output. Czech President Klement Gottwald is using two new labor laws to weaken workers' resistance to Russian orders. On one hand, Hungarian grain farms is under the control of Russia's Mutual Aid Program.
