Racism: The Every-Present Hidden Barrier to Health in Our Society.

The article reflects on the interference of racism in the attainment of health and the delivery of health care and other human services in the U.S. The author comments on the issue of the differences in preferences for the racial composition of medical facilities and emphasizes the importance of changes in providing medical care. He stresses that on the negative side, the virus of racism is by no means subdued in which the poor, white and uneducated are at greatest risk to its effects.
