Investigating the Influence of Glycosylation on Protein Conformation and Dynamics.

It has become highly desirable within the pharmaceutical industry to develop analytical tools that access information quickly about a protein's conformation with high sensitivity and resolution. Hydrogen/deuterium-exchange mass spectrometry (H/DX-MS) can be used to probe the conformational and dynamic properties of glycoproteins in solution with small sample quantities, fast turnaround time, in essentially any buffer system, with peptide- level resolution.
