The article presents a study on the integration of computer-assisted language learning (CALL) in education. The study asks 48 first-year female students at the College of Languages and Translation in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to enroll in computer-based (CB) reading classes. The results of the study show that there is improvement in the examination scores of the students, the reading speed, enhanced their vocabulary and pronunciation, and promotes their use of reading strategies such as skimming for the main idea. It adds that teacher training should be the first priority when considering educational improvement in order to achieve positive results. Moreover, teachers should be the motivators, facilitators, and supporters in the classroom.
