Healthy FE: Barnsley College.

The article looks at how Barnsley College, a tertiary college located in Great Britain, implemented health initiatives and developed the Health and Wellbeing Centre. Barnsley's health centre established a partnership with the primary care trust (PCT) which provided three full-time nurses to provide health and wellness to students and staff members. Tutorials were developed to allow students the opportunity to discuss issues such as sexual health and drug abuse in an informal setting. As a result of the Health and Wellbeing centre, students report having more autonomy regarding their health.
