Why Ph.D.'s Should Teach in High Schools.

The author argues that teachers in middle schools and high school without research experience often cannot prepare students adequately for college and work. He notes that the 2010 environment for college faculty generates unemployed or under-employed Ph.D.'s and sees them as a natural source for teacher recruitment for middle and high school. Prejudice in school systems against hiring individuals with Ph.D.'s is discussed.
