      An interview with Wilma B. Liebman, chairman of the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) in the U.S., about labor law, academics and ossification is presented. According to Liebman, the Employee Free Choice Act (EFCA) pending in Congress is the first real effort to change the labor laws in three decades. She cites that handling representation petitions will be affected by the passage of EFCA. She explains the arguments behind the dissent for the 2004 Brown University case.
