      The article provides the author's insight towards economics profession. The author differentiates the two sub-divisions of economics such as macroeconomics and microeconomics. According to the author, most economics majors does not plan to become economists and enter the industry. Moreover, the author stated that economists consider trade as mutually beneficial and focuses on the role of prices play in allocating resources.
