      Newly formed economical requirements for sugar industry in Europe will probably lead to higher economical valuation of by-products of sugar technology, among which also carbonation lime belongs. Milled or precipitated calcium carbonate is used as filler into many materials like paper, plastics, adhesives, etc., where it modifies physical-chemical properties of these materials. The aim of research work was therefore to verify the potential use of carbonation lime as filler into polymer adhesives with required lower production cost. During laboratory experiments the adhesives devoted for gluing of paper tubes were prepared with similar product quality as of a given sample. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
