In the present work, experiences and results obtained after the use of applications SIG in different levels from the archaeological record are discussed. The application frame is fundamentally Los Barruecos site, where in the last years we have developed a series of campaigns of excavation and study of the evolution of the landscape. En el presente trabajo se discuten experiencias y resultados obtenidos tras el uso de aplicaciones SIG en distintos niveles del registro arqueológico. El marco de aplicación es fundamentalmente el del yacimiento de Los Barruecos, donde en los últimos años hemos desarrollado una serie de campañas de excavación y de estudio de la evolución del paisaje.
