Bridging the Functional and Territorial Views on Regional Entrepreneurship and Development: The Challenge, the Journey, the Lessons.

The article discusses the rational complexity in business including two different technological sectors in analysis of the Gothenburg urban region. It elaborates two ideal meta-theoretical and contrasting images of sustainable, localized business activity. It notes that the generic approaches is first related to the academic discourse and empirically illustrated where its lesson are then refined into proposed bridging rationale that emphasizes the need for a dialogue originating in very tension between territorial and functional perspective.
