  The article reports on the efforts of U.S. federal prosecutors to forfeit all the proceeds earned by Sue Schmitz after she was reinstated to her job. In January 2009, Montgomery Circuit Judge Truman Hobbs Jr. ordered the Central Alabama Community College to reinstate Schmitz to college system job after proving that she was improperly terminated. Schmitz, an Alabama lawmaker, was found guilty of fraud for taking more than $177,000 from a college system program.
