Relación cuantitativa entre un indicador de riesgo y un indicador de violencia: El caso colombiano.

This article presents the quantitative relation, from the analysis of correlation between an indicator of risk, ICI, calculated by American Company PRS Group and an indicator of violence, IVPSCAC, calculated by the Colombian organizations "Cinep y Justicia y Paz". As a result the analysis from the variation explained and not explained of the ICI is raised. From the study developed we can conclude: a) Only the 19.3% of the variation in the ICI it is explained by the variation of the IVPSCAC; it indicates that the 80.7% of their variation are explained in factors different from the variation of the IVPSCAC. b) Among them a correlation of the 0.439 appears, which is considered as moderate and it affirms, with a level of confidence of 90%, it is really significant. c) This correlation could be the sample of part of the IVPSCAC information is considered within the construction of the ICI. Este artículo presenta la relación cuantitativa, a partir del análisis de correlación entre un indicador de riesgo, ICI, calculado por la compañía estadounidense PRS Group y un indicador de violencia, IVPSCAC, calculado por las entidades colombianas Cinep y Justicia y Paz. Resultado de lo anterior surge el análisis de la variación explicada y no explicada del ICI. Del estudio se concluye: a) Sólo el 19.3% de la variación en el ICI se explica en la variación del IVPSCAC; ello indica que el 80.7% de su variación se explica en factores diferentes de la variación del IVPSCAC. b) Entre ellos se presenta una correlación del 0.439, la cual es considerada como moderada, y se afirma, con un nivel de confianza del 90%, que es realmente significativa. c) Esta correlación podría ser la muestra de que parte de la información del IVPSCAC sí es considerada dentro de la construcción del ICI.
