From the training office.

The article presents update on the training office of the Institute of Conservation (Icon) in Great Britain. It features Lirica Lynch, who is already half way through her six-month internship at the National Museums Northern Ireland, working on a variety of projects mainly geared to the opening of the Ulster Museum later in 2009. The internships in Stained Glass and conservation of artefacts from Egypt and Sudan will both close on January 19, 2009. The second trial for the institute's new qualification (CTQ) has started with four briefing workshops for candidates, mentors and assessors held in Edinburgh, Scotland, and London, England.
