      The article offers information on the sky, astronomy and moon phases from January to October 5, 2009. The Milky Way and the objects it contains will lie along the horizon making them impossible to see with clarity. In February, the two Magellanic Clouds will be near their greatest elevation above the southern horizon. The constellation of Orion will be visible in the naked eyes or with binoculars during March.
