Engaging in a Reflective Examination about Diversity: Interviews with Three Preservice Teachers.

This article presents educational topics as viewed by pre-service teachers in the United States. Topics discussed in the article include diversity and multicultural education, definitions of diversity and multicultural education, and on having positive understandings and attitudes toward different cultures. Also discussed is the incorporation of multiple languages into classrooms, learning to appreciate each child's similarities and differences, and the importance of maintaining equal appreciation of all students from all ethnic backgrounds.
