Intensivists bring experience to critical care medicine.

The article discusses the need for intensivists in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of hospitals which could improve the quality of care being performed therein. Intensivists spend time exclusively in the ICU to monitor continual changes in the condition of ill patients and they specifically trained to handle critical care than attending physicians.
