The article presents a solution to a problem proposed by Monte J. Zerger of Adams State College. It attempts to show that there are no Pythagorean triples with legs of dk or dk or there are no values of d and k for which dk raise to the power of two plus dk raise to the power of two is a perfect square. It provides the solution along with the theory. The results of the solution conclude the proof of the theorem that there is no Pythagorean triangle whose legs are dk and dk if k is a positive integer.
