Making Reality of Pediatric Rhetoric.

The author discusses the effort of the European Medicines Agency (EMEA) to make the promotion of genuinely pediatric medicines a reality in 2008 in Europe. One manifestation of the effort of EMEA is its initiative to set up pediatric network which is expected to aim at scientific and operational quality standard. The agency also is now working on an updated priority list for studies into off-patent medicines.
