- نبذة مختصرة :
This essay explores the female homosexuality during the Great War in Great Britain. It is argued that lesbians are produced not only through female homo-social traditions and sexology medical discourse, but also through xenophobic nationalism and affiliations with homosexual males. The author expresses that the novel "Despised and Rejected," by Rose Allatini and Maud Allan's trial describe the emergence of female sexuality through male homosexual pacifism and female masculinity. Furthermore, it is believed that the cultural texts relate the interconnected and changing narratives of nationalism, female sexuality and homosexuality.
