      The article focuses on the study which evaluates long-term urothelial recurrence and disease-specific survival after radical nephroureterectomy for upper tract transitional cell carcinoma (TCC). Physicians Christian Bolenz and Mario Fernández started the research through retrospective analysis of 145 patients with confirmed upper tract TCC and were operated on at the University Hospital. It was revealed that more than 40 percent of the patients presented with locally advanced disease.
