      The article focuses on the impact and significance of visual information on today's learning. It is reported that both students as well as teachers are using the new technology for their diverse needs. It is suggested that visual imagery come to handy particularly in the case of teaching the past events. It is opined that visual information is easily available on the Internet. It is argued that Flickr Online, with its collection of hundreds of thousands of photographs, is considered the best resource for online visual imagery. Beside Flickr Online, sites such as YouTube Inc. and Google Video are also forerunners in this field.
