Scientific and Technical Visualization in Technology Education.

This article examines the Visualization in Technology Education (VisTE) project which is designed to enhance the students' knowledge in science, understand emerging technologies and help with the integration of standards that promote technological literacy. VisTE involves more than the teaching of mechanical and architectural computer-aided design requiring a broader approach. The program is offered in units such as Medical Technology: Imaging, Biotechnology: PCR, Transportation Technology: Visualizing Rocketry and more.
