      The article focuses on promotions causing transition anxiety in the workplace. According to a survey conducted by the consultancy firm, DDI, promotion is considered as stressful as divorce. It states that symptoms of anxiety include, not being able to get out of bed in the morning, and avoiding the Chief Executive Officers call. Being purposely incompetent, and the sense of knowing that everyone else thinks you don't deserve the promotion, are also discussed.
