      The article discusses how sarcopenia or loss of muscle strength can be treated and prevented. A small study at the University of California, San Diego claimed that dehydroepiandrosterone or DHEA, which is from the adrenal glands of human bodies, can improve muscle strength in men. Another study indicated that testosterone gives extra pounds of muscle, which do not influence the physical strength and endurance. The author notes that human growth hormone can also regulate growth and metabolism.
