      The article reports on the value of the employee pension fund received by San Diego County, California in two distributions from Amaranth Advisors LLC. According to Brian White, chief executive officer for the San Diego County Employees Retirement Association, he was informed how much of the pension fund's original cash placements remain with Amaranth. He added that the remaining amount that could be returned depends on whether Amaranth takes gains or losses on the sales of its remaining assets.
