      The article investigates the efficiency of light-emitting diode (LED) devices and other low-intensity light therapies in healing the wound, specifically in diabetic wounds and scars. The LEDs and other light therapies are considered to be more affordable than the laser therapy, noninvasive and easy to use. They also smooth out wrinkles and treat sore muscles. It has been expected that LEDs promote healing through their effect on the penetration of cells and cytokines.
