      The article reports on a masterplan study contract won by Spain's Ingenieria & Consultoria de Transporte (Ineco) covering tile development of an urban rail and metro network in Kuwait. The masterplan will cover the feasibility of a metro system in Kuwait City, traffic studies, revenue forecasting, route alignment and financing options, working on a prefeasibility study completed by Parsons Brinckerhoff.
