The article discusses the implications of the Green Revolution. The author explores the history of agriculture and how it has helped in a world of famine. He also explained the important role of food supply to world peace and cites some countries which have made significant developments in agriculture including Pakistan, India, and the Philippines. He noted that one major catalyst that has motivated the Green Revolution was the Mexican dwarf wheat varieties, and their Indian and Pakistani derivatives. He defended his stand on Green Revolution against some critics that it had caused more problems in some ways. Moreover, he stated that the Green Revolution has been victorious temporarily in the success of man's fight against hunger and deprivation.
