THE DIDACTIC LABORATORY IN CLASSICS AT THE SSIS VENETO, ITALY.

The article reflects on the Didactic Laboratory of Classics at the University of Verona (Italy), known as SSIS Veneto and its role in the training of teachers. The specific aims of the laboratory are the planning of Greek and Latin literature courses and the integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in the teaching process which is in consonance with a government project to introduce ICT into Italian schools in all levels. It presents the importance of ICT in teaching and explains the planning and implementation of the course through a concrete example.
