      The article presents an interview with University of Tennessee professor James Hill Craddock. The efforts taken by the professor to restore American chestnut trees are discussed. He stated that chestnuts are annual beating and easily digestible to humans and animals. Once they return, the abundance of animal food from trees will change forest ecosystems.
