Computational linguistics and its components between theory and application.

تعدّ اللّسانيات الحاسوبيّة ( Computational Lingustics) من أحدث الاتّجاهات اللّغويّة في اللّسانيات العربيّة المعاصرة، إذ تستغلّ ما توّفره التّكنولوجيا المتطوّرة من أجل بلورة برامج وأنظمة لمعالجة اللّغات الطّبيعية معالجة آليّة، فهي علمٌ بينِيّ يتقاسمَه عِلمان: علمُ اللغةِ أي الجانب اللغويّ اللّساني، وعلمُ الحاسوبِ أي الجانب التكنولوجيّ التقنيّ المعلوماتيّ،بغرضِ تطويعِ اللّغة في بيئة جديدة غيرَ بيئتِها وهي الحاسوب. وللّسانيات الحاسوبيّة مكوّنان؛ مكوّن نظريّ يُعنى باستقراء وجمع النظريات اللّغوية لتوصيفها للدماغ البشريّ، ومكوّن تطبيقيّ وهو الجانب العمليّ التجريبيّ إذ يعنى بالناتج العملي لنمذجة الاستعمال الإنسانيّ. وبناء على هذا يهدف هذا المقال إلى توصيف هذين المكوّنين وكيفية اشتغالهما وأهمّ خصائصهما. Computational Linguistics is one of the latest linguistic trends in contemporary Arabic linguistics, as it takes advantage of what advanced technology provides in order to crystallize programs and systems for automatic processing of natural languages. It is an inter-science shared by the sciences of linguistics, i.e. the linguistic aspect, and computer science, i.e. the technical and informational aspect, with the aim of adapting the language in a new environment other than its environment, which is the computer. Computational linguistics has two components; A theoretical component is concerned with the extrapolation and collection of linguistic theories to describe them to the human brain, and an applied component, which is the practical and experimental aspect, as it is concerned with the practical output of modeling human use.
