      The article reports on the growth of Books Unbanned as a vital resource for people in schools and communities in the U.S. where book challenges otherwise put content out of reach since its launch in April 2022. The Brooklyn Library was able to give 8,200 teens and young adults aged 13 to 21 full access to its extensive catalog of ebooks, e-audiobooks, and online learning database collections. In September 2024, Books Unbanned libraries conducted a variety of programs for the Banned Books Week.
