The French colonialism tried to eliminate the components and the identity of the Algerian people. In doing so, it adopted profound plans, colonialist discourses, and criminal acts whose psychological and physical consequences transmitted through generations. As a response, our intellectuals raised awareness and were desperate to engage in civilizational resistance in response to the nation’s call. They exposed the falsity of the civilizational message as well as the adopted policy of integration. Sheikh Mohamed Bachir El Ibrahimi, one of the leaders of the Algerian Muslim Scholars Association emphasizes in his reformist speeches the separation of the Algerian ego from the French colonialist. Le colonisateur français a essayé de détruire les fondements et l’identité du peuple algérien, en adoptant des procédés, des discours coloniaux et des actes criminels, dont les conséquences psychologiques et physiques se transmettent encore de génération en génération. Pour répondre à l’appel de la patrie, nos intellectuels ont réveillé le peuple en utilisant la résistance civilisée et en exposant le faux message de la civilisation ainsi que la politique d’intégration adoptée.
