      Sustainable development is a paradigm of development that is directly related to the balance of nature or the environment. One of the efforts to maintain sustainable development is through the preparation of environmental documents. According to the Regulations of the Minister of the Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia No. 4 of 2021 on the List of Enterprises and/or Activities Obligatory to Have An Environmental Impact Analysis, Environment Management Efforts and Environment Monitoring Efforts or Letter of Declaration of Adequacy for Management and Surveillance of The Environment Appendix to Section C.Industrial Fields, Marine Grass Processing Industry Activities with KBLI No. 10298 point.a. Surface area ≥ 1 Ha < 10 ha or water use according to multisectoral criteria included in the UKL-UPL scale/size. The method used in this study is a descriptive research method. This document is compiled in accordance with the UKL/UPL Preparatory Guidelines based on the Government of the Republic of Indonesia Regulation No. 22 of 2021 on the Maintenance of the Protection and Management of the Living Environment. A description of the components of the business plan and/or activities that may have an impact on the environment, i.e. in the pre-construction, construction and operation stages. Based on studies with sources of impact employment opportunities, decreased air quality, increased noise, increase in liquid and solid waste caused by this activity is the management and monitoring of the living environment carried out on a periodic and sustainable basis.       Pembangunan berkelanjutan (sustainable development) merupakan paradigma pembangunan yang berkaitan langsung dengan keseimbangan alam atau lingkungan. Salah satu upaya untuk mempertahankan pembangunan berkelanjutan adalah dengan penyusunan dokumen lingkungan. Berdasarkan Peraturan Menteri Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan Republik Indonesia Nomor 4 Tahun 2021 tentang Daftar Usaha dan/atau Kegiatan yang Wajib Memiliki Analisis Mengenai Dampak Lingkungan Hidup, Upaya Pengelolaan Lingkungan Hidup dan Upaya Pemantauan Lingkungan Hidup atau Surat Pernyataan Kesanggupan Pengelolaan dan Pemantauan Lingkungan Hidup Lampiran bagian C.Bidang Perindustrian,kegiatan industri pengolahan rumput laut dengan nomor KBLI 10298 point.a. luas lahan terbangun ≥ 1 Ha < 10 ha atau penggunaan air mengikuti kriteria multisektor termasuk dalam skala/besaran UKL-UPL. Metode yang digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif. Dokumen ini disusun sesuai dengan Pedoman Penyusun UKL/UPL berdasarkan Peraturan Pemerintah Republik Indonesia Nomor 22 Tahun 2021 tentang Penyelenggaraan Perlindungan dan Pengelolaan Lingkungan Hidup. Uraian mengenai komponen rencana usaha dan/atau kegiatan yang dapat menimbulkan dampak lingkungan yaitu pada tahap pra konstruksi, konstruksi dan operasi. Berdasarkan kajian dengan sumber dampak adanya kesempatan kerja, penurunan kualitas udara, peningkatan kebisingan, peningkatan limbah cair dan limbah padat yang ditimbulkan akibat adanya kegiatan ini adalah pengelolaan dan pemantauan lingkungan hidup yang dilakukan secara berkala dan berkelanjutan (sustainable).
