Sources of Psychological Stress among Married and Unmarried Women in Light of some Variables at Ramtha District.

The purpose of the study is to investigate the sources of psychological stress among married and non-married women at Ramtha district according to educational level, marital status, and job status. The sample consisted of (739) married and unmarried women, selected through convenient sampling. To achieve the objectives of the study, a tool to measure the sources of psychological stress was developed. The findings of the study showed that there are significant statistical differences in the domains of the sources of psychological stress (social stress, economic stress) due to the marital status in favor of married women. There were no statistically significant differences in the sources of psychological stress due to the educational level, and there were no statistically significant differences in the domains of the sources of psychological stress (family stress, psychological stress) due to the marital status. Further; there were no statistically significant differences in the sources of stress domains due to job. The study recommended providing counseling programs for married and unmarried women to face psychological stress. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

هدفت الدراسة إلى معرفة مصادر الضغوط النفسية لدى المتزوجات وغير المتزوجات في لواء الرمثا وذلك في ضوء بعض المتغيرات (المستوى التعليمي، والحالة الاجتماعية، والحالة الوظيفية)، تكونت عينة الدراسة من (739) امرأة من النساء المتزوجات وغير المتزوجات، تم اختيارهن بالطريقة المتيسرة. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم تطوير أداة لقياس مصادر الضغوط النفسية. أظهرت نتائج الدراسة وجود فروق دالة إحصائيًا بين المتوسطات الحسابية لأبعاد مصادر الضغوط النفسية (الضغوط الاجتماعية، الضغوط الاقتصادية) تعزى لمتغير الحالة الاجتماعية لصالح النساء المتزوجات، وعدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا بين المتوسطات الحسابية لأبعاد مصادر الضغوط النفسية تعزى للمستوى التعليمي، وعدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائيًا لأبعاد مصادر الضغوط النفسية (الضغوط الأسرية، والضغوط النفسية) تعزى لمتغير الحالة الاجتماعية، كما أظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائيًا لجميع أبعاد مصادر الضغوط النفسية تعزى لمتغير الحالة الوظيفية. وفي ضوء النتائج أوصت الدراسة بتقديم برامج إرشادية للسيدات المتزوجات وغير المتزوجات لمواجهة الضغوط النفسية.
