Designing and Evaluating Search and Rescue Management Applications using the Rapid Application Development Approach and the Technology Acceptance Model.

This research evaluates the acceptance of a web-based application for search and rescue (SAR) activities among National Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas Indonesia) volunteers, utilizing the Rapid Application Development method. The expanded Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) includes perceived usefulness, attitude towards using technology, perceived ease of use, and behavioral intention to use. With a quantitative approach involving one hundred respondents, Smart Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis indicates that perceived usefulness, attitude towards using technology, and behavioral intention to use significantly influence the actual technology use of the aplotSAR application. However, the Perceived Ease of Use variable does not have a significant impact.
