Gamification as didactics for the development of communicative skills of the English language: a theoretical reflection. (English)

The main objective of this research was to carry out a theoretical reflection on gamification as a didactic strategy for the development of communicative skills in learning the English language. A qualitative documentary-type investigation was applied, where 10 investigations published in recent years were analyzed. It is concluded that gamification in teaching is important because it promotes motivation, commitment, active learning, immediate feedback, collaboration, personalization of learning and the transfer of skills. By taking advantage of the playful and motivating elements of games, gamification can significantly improve the educational experience and the achievement of learning objectives. El objetivo principal de esta investigación fue realizar una reflexión teórica sobre la gamificación como estrategia didáctica para el desarrollo de competencias comunicativas en el aprendizaje del idioma inglés. Se aplicó una investigación cualitativa de tipo documental, donde se analizaron 10 investigaciones publicadas en los últimos años. Se concluye que la gamificación en la enseñanza es importante porque promueve la motivación, el compromiso, el aprendizaje activo, la retroalimentación inmediata, la colaboración, la personalización del aprendizaje y la transferencia de habilidades. Al aprovechar los elementos lúdicos y motivadores de los juegos, la gamificación puede mejorar significativamente la experiencia educativa y el logro de los objetivos de aprendizaje.
