      A measurement technique to improve the electrical characterization of interconnect parasitics has been tested. An algorithm, aaax [1], was used to pick optimal points for measurement on a vector network analyzer (VNA). This is expected to improve the accuracy of subsequent rational approximation models while optimizing the amount of measurement data that is stored. This was tested on USB-controlled VNAs.
