A suggested conception of the social studies curriculum for the third year of middle school in the light of the dimensions of African geographical enlightenment.

هدف البحث إلى إعداد تصور مقترح لمنهج الدراسات الاجتماعية (الجزء الخاص بالجغرافيا) للصف الثالث الاعدادي في ضوء أبعاد التنور الجغرافي الافريقي، ولتحقيق ذلك اُعدت قائمة بابعاد التنور الجغرافي الافريقي الواجب تضمينها بالمنهج، وتضمنت القائمة ثلاثة ابعاد هي: البعد المعرفي، والبعد الوجداني، والبعد المهاري ، وتم تحليل منهج الدراسات الاجتماعية للصف الثالث الاعدادي في ضوء ابعاد القائمة. وتوصل البحث الى مجموعة من النتائج أهمها: ضعف تناول منهج الدراسات الاجتماعية للصف الثالث الاعدادي (الجزء الخاص بالجغرافيا) لابعاد التنور الجغرافي الافريقي، وقدم البحث تصوراً مقترحاً لمنهج الدراسات الاجتماعية للصف الثالث الاعدادي في ضوء ابعاد التنور الجغرافي الافريقي متضمن الاسس التي استند عليها التصور، وأهداف التصور، وعناصر التصور، واستراتيجات التدريس، والانشطة التعليمية، ومصادر التعلم، واساليب التقويم، ثم تم بناء وحدة من التصور المقترح بعنوان الانهار في قارة افريقيا. وأوصى البحث بضرورة تطوير مناهج الدراسات الاجتماعية بالمرحلة الاعدادية في ضوء ابعاد التنور الجغرافي الافريقي، وتشكيل لجان لزيادة تعميق البعد الافريقي بمناهج الدراسات الاجتماعية بجميع المراحل التعليمية. The aim of the research is to prepare a proposed conception of the social studies curriculum (the part on geography) for the third year of middle school in the light of the dimensions of African geographical enlightenment. To achieve this, a list of dimensions of African geographical enlightenment was prepared to be included in the curriculum. The research reached a set of results, the most important of which are: the weakness of the social studies curriculum for the third year of middle school (the part on geography) to prevent the African geographical enlightenment, The research presented a suggested conception of the social studies curriculum for the third year of middle school in the light of the dimensions of African geographical enlightenment, including the foundations on which the conception was based, the objectives of the conception, the elements of conceptualization, teaching strategies, educational activities, learning resources, and evaluation methods.
