This article is about the library, which is a source of knowledge, a center of culture and spirituality for young and old readers of all eras. The library plays a big role in forming the reading culture of young people, increasing their love for books, and broadening their horizons. Today, information and library institutions are increasingly becoming important social centers that support the population collectively or individually. Successful libraries around the world manage to solve various, even not the most insignificant tasks: somewhere they promote books, somewhere they conduct classes with vulnerable children, teach them, develop design principles and educational games for the blind, somewhere they organize language courses for immigrants, the list is endless. They often become centers of knowledge about a particular area, preserving the cultural and educational heritage of that place and shaping local identity. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Эта статья о библиотеке, которая является источником знаний, центром культуры и духовности для молодых и пожилых читателей всех эпох. Библиотека играет большую роль в формировании культуры чтения молодежи, повышении ее любви к книге, расширении кругозора. Сегодня информационно-библиотечные учреждения все больше становятся важными социальными центрами, поддерживающими население коллективно или индивидуально. Успешные библиотеки всего мира успевают решать разные, даже не самые незначительные задачи: где-то продвигают книги, где-то проводят занятия с уязвимыми детьми, обучают их, разрабатывают принципы дизайна и развивающие игры для незрячих, где-то для иммигрантов организуют языковые курсы, список бесконечен.
