      The article analyzes the practice of medicalization in the curricula of two schools in Belo Horizonte, one private and one public, aimed at students in the 6th and 7th grades of elementary school. Medicalization is seen as a prerequisite for optimizing the learning of students diagnosed with ADHD, but there are conflicts in the implementation of this practice in the investigated curricula. Some students question the effects of medication on their bodies, learning, and social relationships, highlighting the need to find other ways to deal with differences in the curriculum.       O artigo analisa a prática de medicalização nos currículos de duas escolas em Belo Horizonte, uma privada e outra pública, destinados aos alunos do 6º e 7º anos do ensino fundamental. A medicalização é vista como um pré-requisito para otimizar a aprendizagem dos alunos diagnosticados com TDAH, mas há conflitos na implementação dessa prática nos currículos investigados. Alguns estudantes questionam os efeitos da medicação em seus corpos, aprendizagem e relações sociais, evidenciando a necessidade de encontrar outras maneiras de lidar com a diferença no currículo.
