Não-determinismo e não-esquecimento: o estatuto ambíguo do corpo na filosofia de Beauvoir. (Portuguese)

The aim of this article is to understand the status of the body in the work The Second Sex, by Simone de Beauvoir, more specifically in chapter 1 of the first volume, “the data of biology”. If it is true that the description of the body is not enough to define what a woman is - allowing the French philosopher to move away from determinism and essentialism -, it is also true that it is a fundamental element for the understanding of the women. Thus, we will try to demonstrate that, in Beauvoir’s existentialist moral, the body neither determines nor is forgotten, but constitutes itself as being, at the same time, a thing of the world and a point of view about the world, facticity and freedom. Trata-se de compreender qual é o estatuto do corpo na obra O segundo sexo, de Simone de Beauvoir, mais especificamente no capítulo 1 do primeiro volume, “os dados da biologia”. Se é verdade que a descrição do corpo não é suficiente para definir o que é uma mulher - permitindo à filósofa francesa afastar-se de determinismos e essencialismos -, é verdade também que é um elemento fundamental para a compreensão das mulheres. Assim, tentar-se há demonstrar que, na moral existencialista de Beauvoir, o corpo nem determina nem é esquecido, mas se constitui como sendo, a um só tempo, uma coisa do mundo e um ponto de vista sobre o mundo, facticidade e liberdade, ou seja: ambiguidade.
