Adultery in the Islamic community through the play "Guilty" by the writer Yehoshua Sobol,.
All divine messages forbade adultery because of the serious harm it causes to the individual and society. Islam has prohibited adultery and all its motives, and it has been forbidden in several places in the Holy Qur’an. Adultery is one of the hudud crimes in which God enjoins the lawful punishment of its perpetrators. The just punishment of Sharia law has resulted in a society based on good morals, because in this crime there is an assault on symptoms and mixing of lineages, Which leads to the demolition of the family and then the disintegration and dissolution of society. The form of stoning has been the subject of constant criticism of Islam, It is considered a brutal, barbaric and extremely cruel punishment, as well as a violation of human rights. This study meant that punishment. The choice fell on this play to deal with this punishment, revealing the message that Sobol wanted to convey to the rest of the Arab women through the heroine of his play. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
