The article shares insights on barriers to equitable access of refugees to healthcare during the COVID-19 pandemic. Topics discussed include health care challenges experienced by refugees in low and under-resourced setting and refugees in host countries, inequity in the global supply of vaccine that led to greater risk of infection in camps and lower immunization rates in host countries, the need to reshape health interventions, and role of community-based organizations in risk communication.
