Compost and compost pellets at 5% addition rate promoted soil functions related to primary production, water purification, soil detoxification and soil fertility. Stepwise multiple linear regression (SMLR) analysis between Hg conc. in plants, Hg fractions in RS and bulk soil (BS) and soil properties showed that Hg in plant parts was influenced by soil total Hg. Boostani et al. ([2]) made the first study to examine the interaction effects of biochar and soil moisture regime on Ni stabilization in a Ni-contaminated calcareous soil.
